At the conference, Central Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Hoang Dang Quang announced the Politburo's decision.
Accordingly, the Politburo decided that Mr. Ho Van Nien - Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religions was assigned and appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.
Mr. Ho Van Nien, 50 years old, from Ba Na, from Gia Lai, is currently a member of the Party Central Committee, with a bachelor's degree in Law. In 2010, he became Secretary of the Dak Po District Party Committee, and three years later held the position of Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee.
In 2015, Mr. Nien became the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee. In June 2020, he was elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee. On July 1, 2025, he was appointed to the position of Permanent Deputy Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.
Yesterday, in Hanoi, the Central Organizing Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.
Accordingly, the Politburo decided that Ms. Bui Thi Quynh Van - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee - would cease to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term; transfer, assign, and appoint her to the position of Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee.
