On the afternoon of July 28, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation organized a ceremony to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026) and honor typical grassroots Trade Union Presidents.
At the program, Mr. Bui Hoai Nam - Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation - affirmed that 97 years of construction and development of the Vietnam Trade Union is also a journey of growth and continuous innovation of the Khanh Hoa Trade Union.
According to Mr. Nam, under the leadership of the Party, Trade Union levels in the province always promote their role as a bridge between the Party, government and workers; gathering and uniting the team of workers, civil servants, and laborers, making important contributions to the socio-economic development of the locality.
Not only performing well the function of representing and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members, trade union levels also promote many care programs and patriotic emulation movements, contributing to building an increasingly strong worker contingent.
According to the Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, that achievement has the important contribution of many generations of trade union officials, especially the team of grassroots Trade Union Chairmen - those who are directly attached to union members and workers, keeping the fire of the movement and building a strong Trade Union organization from the grassroots level.
On this occasion, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation honored 97 typical grassroots Trade Union Presidents in 2026. These are officials with many initiatives and dedication in trade union activities, contributing to building harmonious and stable labor relations and effectively caring for the lives of union members and workers.
Leaders of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation said that the province is entering a new stage of development with the goal of becoming the growth pole of the South Central region, towards double-digit economic growth according to the direction of the Central Government and the province.
In the context of digital transformation, green transformation, international integration and the implementation of the two-level local government model, the Trade Union organization will continue to strongly innovate its content and methods of operation.
Khanh Hoa Trade Union will focus on improving the quality of dialogue, collective negotiation, comprehensively caring for the material and spiritual life, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members.
At the same time, promote digital transformation in trade union activities, contributing to building a modern worker contingent, meeting the development requirements of industrial parks, key projects and the process of economic restructuring of the province.
Focus on promoting the development of union members, establishing grassroots trade unions at new enterprises; building a team of professional trade union officials, adapting to new requirements.
The Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation also awarded the Medal "For the Cause of Building Trade Union Organizations" of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to individuals who have made many contributions to the cause of building and developing Trade Union organizations.
