The Veterinary Institute Trade Union belongs to the Vietnam Agricultural and Environmental Trade Union. With efforts and creativity, the Institute's Trade Union has concretized patriotic emulation movements so that every cadre and union member can respond and participate.
That is an important factor so that in the period of 2020 - 2025, the Institute will have 233 grassroots initiatives, 19 ministerial-level initiatives and 8 city-level initiatives; many initiatives are highly applicable, contributing to raising the level of Vietnam's livestock industry. Notably, scientists have mastered the first successful technology of humanising pigs from soma cells in Vietnam; researched and identified precious genes related to reproductive productivity, milk quality and disease resistance in livestock, bringing the Institute's genetic technology close to regional and world standards.
In particular, initiatives with high responsiveness are quickly applied in practice such as creating breeds of pigs, chickens, geese, daffodils suitable for domestic farming conditions; building many technological processes, sustainable production models... This is the clearest proof of the effectiveness of the emulation movement when closely linked to professional tasks.
The Executive Committee of the Vietnam Agricultural and Environment Trade Union has awarded the Certificate of Merit for its outstanding achievements in the Emulation movement for Good Workers and building a strong Trade Union organization in the period of 2020-2025 to the Institute Trade Union.
