Among the cadres and union members who received the Certificate of Merit for their good deeds in the country and their good deeds in the home of the Vietnam Agricultural and Environmental Trade Union recently is Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong, Deputy Director - Vice President of the Trade Union of the Institute of Measurement and Mapping Sciences.

Along with effectively advising the Director in building a clean and strong Party, government and organization, Ms. Huong directly directs many important areas of work such as science - technology, doctoral training, scientific information and research and experimental activities.
Under her close guidance, dozens of scientific research topics and technical initiatives have been successfully implemented, bringing practical application value, contributing to affirming the Institute's reputation in the field of measurement and maps.
Ms. Huong herself has chaired and participated in many large research projects of national influence, including initiatives that have been widely recognized and applied. In addition, she is also the Head of the Team, a member of the drafting committee of many important technical circulars and regulations, contributing to the completion of the specialized legal system.
What makes people consider her an example to follow is not simply her good profession but her arrangement of scientific time to take care of her family. In the family, she skillfully arranges her life scientifically, builds a harmonious and happy family, has children who are well-educated, good at studying and achieves many outstanding achievements. Her family has been recognized as a "Cultural Family" for many consecutive years, a solid spiritual support for her to work with peace of mind and contribute to society.
As Vice President of the grassroots Trade Union, she always cares about and looks after the lives of union members, organizing many vibrant and practical movement activities. Cultural - sports programs, women's activities, taking care of children of cadres and civil servants... are all maintained effectively by her, creating an atmosphere of solidarity and cohesion in the unit.
