Quang Ninh Provincial Social Insurance (BHXH) publicly announced the list of businesses that are late and evading insurance contributions, in which many businesses have filed lawsuits from the People's Procuracy and some businesses have had their dossiers transferred to the People's Procuracy by the Provincial Social Insurance.
According to this list, there are 40 businesses that are late or evade paying social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance, with a total amount of up to tens of billions of VND.
In which, the enterprise with the largest amount of late and evaded insurance payments is up to more than 20 billion VND, affecting the rights of nearly 250 workers.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of Quang Ninh Provincial Social Insurance said that they are still continuing to coordinate with relevant units to prepare dossiers of businesses that are late or evading insurance payments to transfer to the People's Procuracy for consideration and lawsuit according to Resolution No. 205/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly on piloting the People's Procuracy to initiate civil cases to protect the civil rights of vulnerable groups and public interests.
Quang Ninh Provincial Social Insurance will periodically provide a list of units that are late in paying or evading insurance contributions in the area for the Procuracy to coordinate in monitoring and proposing handling, ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of employees.
Over the past time, the People's Procuracy of Region 2, under the People's Procuracy of Quang Ninh province, has coordinated with Quang Yen grassroots social insurance, Quang Ninh province, to resolve 5 public interest proceedings related to 5 businesses in the area that are late in paying and evading social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance; recovering a total amount of 261,347,302 VND into the Social Insurance Fund.
According to Quang Ninh Provincial Social Insurance, as of June 30, 2026, the whole province still has 433 units that have been late in paying and evading social insurance, unemployment insurance, and health insurance for more than 3 months and have late payment and evasion amounts of 10 million VND or more; corresponding to late payment amounts of over 96.2 billion VND (excluding units that have reported labor reduction and units that have dissolved, gone bankrupt, stopped production and business activities...); affecting the legitimate rights of 3,444 workers.
