Information from the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation on January 18 said that in 2025, trade union levels in Ho Chi Minh City have proactively coordinated with the government and professional departments at the same level to effectively implement grassroots democracy regulations at 4,277 state-owned units and 10,801 non-state-owned enterprises.
In which, 4,089 state-owned units organized conferences of officials and civil servants and 9,856 non-state-owned enterprises organized employee conferences, and 379 labor agreements at enterprises were newly signed.
Trade union levels in Ho Chi Minh City also coordinated to inspect and supervise the compliance with labor laws at 46,230 enterprises, promptly detecting and proposing handling violations of salaries, insurance regimes and labor safety and hygiene work.
Legal advice and legal aid work is focused on and effectively implemented by trade union levels in Ho Chi Minh City. As a result, 2,736 turns of union members and workers have been consulted and provided with legal support, of which 272 cases of workers authorizing trade union organizations representing them to participate in lawsuits in court to protect their rights.
