On April 1, a source from Lao Dong Newspaper said that the Department of Construction of Tien Giang province had sent a report to the People's Committee of Tien Giang province on consulting on the settlement of the Tan Huong Industrial Park Social Housing project (hereinafter referred to as the HQC Tan Huong social housing project).

According to this report, on November 6, 2024, Hoang Quan Real Estate Consulting - Trading - Service Joint Stock Company (Hoang Quan Company) made recommendations and proposals to the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee of Tien Giang province and the Department of Construction of Tien Giang province to support and remove some contents related to the implementation of the HQC Tan Huong social housing project.

Hoang Quan Company proposes to adjust the subjects to enjoy social housing policies at the project from the subjects who are workers serving 12 subjects specified in Article 76 of the Housing Law. The company also proposed to be considered and approved for the unit to transfer apartments for rent at the project to the form of selling social housing to subjects entitled to policies as prescribed at Point g, Clause 5, Article 198 of the Housing Law in 2023.

According to the Department of Construction of Tien Giang province, the HQC Tan Huong social housing project has 171 apartments that are eligible to sell future housing in 2 blocks, C and D, in the above project. The investor has announced the opening for sale since November 2024, but so far no contracts have been signed.

The opinions of investors and workers who have registered to buy social housing in the project are very few, while there are many other subjects who have a need to buy social housing in the project, however, because they are not workers or laborers in Tan Huong Industrial Park and industrial parks in Tien Giang province, they are not eligible to buy social housing in this project.

The Department of Construction of Tien Giang province proposes Tien Giang People's Committee to consider and approve the policy of adjusting the subjects to buy and buy social houses at the HQC Tan Huong Social Housing Project, which are the subjects of social housing support policies prescribed in Article 76 of the Law on Housing in 2023. This project.

The Department of Construction of Tien Giang province also proposed Tien Giang People's Committee to consider approving the policy of adjusting the progress and time of completion of Block C, D and technical infrastructure of the HQC Tan Huong Social Housing Project to March 2025. For, Block A and B finish at the latest until the second quarter of 2025. In case, Hoang Quan Company is not completed according to the above progress, the People's Committee of Tien Giang province does not continue to extend the implementation progress and handle according to regulations.

According to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, the HQC Tan Huong social housing project started construction in 2016. However, it has been more than 8 years since the project has completed the construction of the technical infrastructure system and social infrastructure. Of the 3 areas of the project, only CN3 is currently being implemented. As for CN1 and CN2, on March 8, 2023, the People's Committee of Tien Giang province issued a document agreeing to revoke.
