Hong Bang District Labor Federation currently manages 222 grassroots unions, including 33 school-based unions with 1,855 cadres, teachers, and workers.
In the 2024-2025 school year, the Hong Bang District Labor Federation directed and oriented a number of key tasks and targets: 95% of public school grassroots trade unions, 80% or more of non-public schools achieved the title of grassroots trade unions that fulfilled their tasks well or better; 100% of public school trade unions coordinated to organize conferences for cadres, civil servants, and public employees; 90% or more of non-public schools organized labor conferences.
100% of units coordinate to launch emulation movements and organize union members to register for emulation titles right from the beginning of the school year. The entire district strives to have at least 2 initiatives awarded the Creative Labor Certificate in the field of educational innovation... The rate of workers joining the union reaches 98% for public schools and 85% for non-public schools.
At the conference, delegates approved the content and organized the signing of the emulation agreement for the school-based trade union bloc for the 2024-2025 school year. On this occasion, many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in trade union activities and the labor movement in the 2023-2024 school year were commended and rewarded by trade unions at all levels.
