    Hai Phong - On October 2, the Hai Phong City Education Trade Union organized a program to provide educational support to Thuy Nguyen district to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3.

    According to statistics, the whole Thuy Nguyen district has 32 families of officials, teachers and 206 families of students of Thuy Nguyen district suffering great damage due to storm No. 3. To share and encourage teachers and students in the district, the Department of Education of Hai Phong City supported 244 million VND from the source mobilized from officials, teachers, students of the city and benefactors.

    At the program, the Hai Phong Education Trade Union presented subsidies to teachers and students in difficult circumstances who suffered heavy losses due to the storm.

    Also at the program, VietABank Union presented 10 65-inch TVs to schools in Thuy Nguyen district and 16 scholarships to students with good academic performance. The total value of gifts and scholarships is nearly 150 million VND.
