At the Conference, Mr. Luong Xuan Truong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation reviewed the historical significance of International Labor Day (May 1), the glorious tradition and the great contributions of the working class and trade union organizations to the revolutionary process of the nation.
Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Sung A Ho - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation acknowledged and praised the efforts and achievements of trade union organizations at all levels, workers, and laborers of the province in the past time.
Mr. Sung A Ho requested trade union levels to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; strongly focus on grassroots levels, grasp the thoughts and aspirations of workers, civil servants, and laborers.
The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also suggested that each union member and worker should proactively study, improve their qualifications and skills, adapt to new requirements; actively participate in emulation movements and trade union activities.
On this occasion, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded Emulation Flags to 1 collective, and Certificates of Merit to 4 individuals who have made outstanding achievements in the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and trade union activities in 2025.
Lai Chau Provincial Labor Federation awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 collectives and 25 individuals who have made outstanding achievements in "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style" in the period 2023 - 2025; awarded Certificates of Merit to 25 individuals who have made outstanding achievements in labor and production on the occasion of Workers' Month; awarded 55 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
