According to the Trade Union of Vietnam Post Corporation - VNPost (under the Vietnam Science and Technology Trade Union), towards the XIV Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, trade union levels across the country are actively implementing many meaningful and practical activities to care for and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
In the atmosphere of emulation to achieve achievements to celebrate the Congress, the VNPost Trade Union issued Official Dispatch No. 390/CĐTCTBĐ-CSTG dated May 29, 2026 on supporting union members and workers suffering from critical illnesses and occupational diseases through the "Gifts from the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress" Program. This is a highly humane activity, deeply expressing the spirit of "where there are workers in difficult circumstances, there is a Trade Union organization accompanying".
According to the implementation content, the program focuses on supporting union members and workers suffering from dangerous diseases and occupational diseases such as cancer, chronic kidney failure requiring periodic dialysis, serious occupational diseases, lupus erythematosus, drug-resistant tuberculosis and many other dangerous diseases. In particular, the program prioritizes cases with particularly difficult circumstances, high treatment costs, low incomes and many dependents.
Not only is it material support with a support level of 1-2 million VND/person, the program also has profound spiritual significance, is a timely source of encouragement for union members and workers to have more strength to overcome illness, stabilize their lives and continue to stick with agencies, units, and businesses.
The highlight of the program is the public, transparent, and targeted implementation; and the application of digital transformation through social security accounts on the VNeID platform to transfer support funds directly to employees. This not only improves management efficiency but also demonstrates the strong innovation of trade union organizations in the digital age, towards serving union members better and better.
