In the afternoon of May 29, Comrade Huynh Quoc Viet, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, met with the delegation of the Ca Mau Provincial Trade Union attending the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, term 2026-2031.
At the meeting, Comrade Ly Cong Bac, Provincial Party Committee Member, Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial Labor Federation, briefly reported on the preparation work of the delegation; information about the time, composition, and schedule to attend the Congress.
According to the plan, the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress will take place in 3 days, from June 3 to June 5, 2026, at the National Convention Center with 780 delegates. The delegation of Ca Mau Provincial Trade Union attending the Congress includes 11 delegates; Comrade Ly Cong Bac, Provincial Party Committee Member, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, as Head of the delegation.
Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Huynh Quoc Viet, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, congratulated the delegates who were trusted to attend the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union; and at the same time acknowledged and praised the efforts and contributions of trade union levels in the province in caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers, participating in Party building, building the political system and launching emulation movements.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested delegates to uphold the spirit of responsibility, solidarity, and democracy; actively contribute to the documents submitted to the Congress; reflect the thoughts and legitimate aspirations and bring the voices of union members and workers of the province to the Congress forum. At the same time, delegates need to absorb new guidelines and orientations, learn good experiences, new models, and creative ways of doing things to effectively apply to practice after the Congress, contributing to building the Provincial Trade Union organization to be increasingly strong and developed.
Representing the delegation attending the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, Comrade Ly Cong Bac, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, expressed his honor and pride in representing union members and workers of Ca Mau province to attend the Congress; and promised to be determined to promote the spirit of responsibility, contributing to the overall success of the Congress.
The meeting took place in a friendly and warm atmosphere, showing the concern of the Provincial Leaders for the Trade Union organization and the team of trade union officials, union members, and workers in the province.
