On the morning of April 19, the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation organized a meeting and dialogue between the Provincial Party Secretary and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee with trade union officials, union members, and workers in 2026.
Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - attended the conference.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Pham Hoang Son - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Thach Van Chung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation co-chaired the conference.
Also attending the conference from Bac Ninh province were Mr. Tran Huy Phuong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province.
The conference was also attended by delegates from typical businesses in the province; Vice Chairmen, members of the Executive Committee and officials of the Provincial Labor Federation, commune and ward trade unions and 400 delegates who are grassroots trade union officials, union members, and workers of businesses in the province.
The dialogue conference is an important forum for provincial leaders to directly listen to the thoughts, aspirations, and recommendations of trade union officials, union members, and workers; and at the same time exchange, answer, and promptly direct issues raised from practice.
Within the framework of the program, the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation honored typical businesses and entrepreneurs for workers; awarded certificates to 4 banks accompanying union members and workers in Bac Ninh province; and presented gifts to 100 union members and workers.
According to the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation, currently, Bac Ninh province has over 26,000 operating enterprises with over 820,000 workers. Of which, there are over 387,000 out-of-province workers, accounting for 47.2% of the total number of workers working at enterprises. Out-of-province workers are mainly general laborers from the provinces: Lang Son, Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Son La, Phu Tho...
The number of workers working in FDI enterprises is over 555,000 people, accounting for 67.76%; at state-owned enterprises is 11,890 people, accounting for 1.45% and domestically invested enterprises are over 252,000 people, accounting for 30.79%.
By April 5, 2026, the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation directly directed 2,043 grassroots trade unions with 65,712 union members. The total number of full-time trade union officials in the whole province is currently 80 people, working at 2 departments of the Provincial Labor Federation and 25 wards and communes.
