A highlight in Da Nang Trade Union activities in 2025 is the way of organizing emulation movements in a substantive, non-formal direction. The "Good Labor, Creative Labor" movement continues to be implemented in association with "Learning and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style", the movements "Good at state affairs, good at housework", "Good at labor, creative labor" and campaigns launched by the Trade Union organization.
In many businesses, emulation movements are no longer short-term campaigns but have become regular activities, associated with production and business tasks.
Workers are encouraged to promote initiatives, technical improvements, rationalize production processes, save raw materials, and improve productivity and quality. The Trade Union plays a bridging role, both launching, monitoring, evaluating and promptly recording emulation results.
From emulation movements, many typical collectives and individuals have been commended and honored at all levels. In 2025, many emulation flags, comprehensive certificates of merit, and specialized certificates of merit were awarded to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in labor, creativity, and building strong Trade Union organizations.
Notably, the 1st Conference to commend typical workers who are party members honored 50 direct production workers - those who are dynamic, creative, have many technical innovation initiatives, and are exemplary in labor and work.
At the national level, Da Nang has a typical example of being commended at the 11th National Emulation Congress of CNVCLD, period 2020-2025. This is a recognition of effective emulation models, showing that the "Good Labor - Creative Labor" movement in Da Nang has had a spread beyond the local scope" - Mr. Le Van Dai, Standing Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City Labor Federation said.
Workers actively participate
Practice from the grassroots shows that the emulation movement only truly has vitality when workers consider it an opportunity to affirm their capacity and value.
Mr. Duong Van Dam - maintenance staff at Lovepop Vietnam Co., Ltd. - is a typical example of the "Good Labor, Creative Labor" movement of Da Nang in 2025, said that the emulation movement launched by the Trade Union organization has created clear motivation for workers at the enterprise.
When the Trade Union launched the movement "Good Labor - Creative Labor", workers responded very positively. Each person tried to do their part better, and at the same time boldly proposed initiatives to improve operations, shorten production time, and reduce material waste. The initiatives recognized and rewarded promptly made us feel that our labor efforts were appreciated" - Mr. Dam shared.
From directly participating in emulation movements, Mr. Duong Van Dam also expressed his expectations for the 14th National Party Congress. According to him, the Congress needs to continue to have stronger guidelines and policies to encourage and protect the creative spirit of workers.
We hope that the upcoming policies will continue to create a stable working environment, harmonious labor relations, and have mechanisms to encourage initiatives in businesses. When workers are trusted and given conditions to develop their abilities, the "Good Labor - Creative Labor" movement will truly become a driving force to improve productivity and quality of growth," Mr. Dam suggested.
In the context that Da Nang is setting a goal of rapid and sustainable development, the requirements for labor productivity and human resource quality are increasing.
The movement "Good Labor - Creative Labor", if continued to be organized substantively, associated with honoring typical examples and appropriate incentive mechanisms, will not only create a spirit of emulation among workers, civil servants, and laborers but also contribute to forming a skilled, disciplined and innovative labor force.
And this is an important foundation to realize the development goals set out by the 14th National Party Congress.
