The Can Tho City Labor Federation (CLF) has just issued document No. 252 to its affiliated grassroots trade unions (CDCS) on organizing activities in response to the National Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Day (PCCC & CNCH) 4.10 and the Fire Prevention and Rescue Safety Month 2025.
Accordingly, the City Labor Federation requested the affiliated trade unions to step up propaganda, information, and dissemination of regulations and laws on fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue on social networking sites and internal loudspeakers; hang banners and propaganda slogans at units and enterprises.
Extensively organize, associated with the movement "All people protect national security", build a cultural life, new rural areas, civilized urban areas; deploy competitions, thematic activities, and skill experience activities for union members and workers, thereby forming a working environment, practicing practical safety skills.
Trade unions need to create conditions for union members and workers to participate in training courses on fire prevention and fighting and rescue skills; participate in rallies, fire fighting and rescue drills close to reality; replicate models: "PCCC Safety Joint Team", "P public fire fighting point", "PCCC Safety residential area, enterprise, school, boarding house", promote collective strength in preventing and responding to fire and explosion incidents.
In addition, coordinate with business leaders to strengthen safety inspection in areas with high risk of fire and explosion and crowded places; overcome shortcomings, ensure fire prevention and fighting safety & search and rescue at the unit. Timely commend and reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements; spread the example of "Good people, good deeds" in the whole society.
Organize a peak emulation campaign in response to the National Fire Prevention and Fighting & Rescue Day (October 4, 2025), Fire Prevention and Fighting & Rescue Safety Month (October 2025) with the theme: "Fire prevention and fighting - Ready for rescue and relief".
