In 2 days April 30 - May 1, the delegation of the Lai Chau Provincial Labor Federation participated in the "Lai Chau International Labor Border Exchange Program (Vietnam) - Jinping (China) 2026" in Jinping County, Yunnan Province, China at the invitation of the Hongxia General Confederation of Labour.
The working delegation participating in the meeting and talks includes comrades: Luong Xuan Truong - Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; Pham Ngoc Dang - Vice Chairman, Head of the Trade Union Affairs Committee, along with leaders, specialists of the Trade Union Affairs Committee and typical and advanced union members.
Within the framework of the program, the two sides held talks, exchanged and agreed on many cooperation contents.
The focus is on establishing a mechanism for periodic exchange and communication; strengthening coordination in training and improving vocational skills for workers; promoting cultural exchange activities, sharing experiences in human resource development and caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
The two sides emphasized the implementation of cooperation activities on the basis of respecting the laws of each country, equality, and mutual benefit. At the same time, they agreed to maintain information exchange, establish contact points and coordinate to evaluate the effectiveness of implementation in the coming time.
On this occasion, the working delegation attended the Border Cultural Exchange Program and surveyed the socio-economic development situation in Kim Binh district, contributing to strengthening understanding and consolidating friendly and cooperative relations between trade union organizations and people of the two localities.
The program is a practical activity to celebrate International Labor Day May 1st, contributing to promoting the cooperative relationship between the Lai Chau Provincial Labor Federation and the Hong Ha General Confederation of Labour to become increasingly in-depth, effective and sustainable.
