The District Labor Federation currently has 143 grassroots unions, of which 69 are grassroots unions in the school sector with 2,512 union members, teachers and workers. In the 2024-2025 school year, the work of caring for the lives of cadres, teachers, and workers has also received attention from the district's Trade Unions at all levels. In particular, the district completed the dossier to request the City Labor Federation to support funding for new construction and repair for 7 union members in difficult circumstances (the district has allocated funding for new construction to 5 union members); received support funding for 3 union members and teachers in difficult circumstances and with serious illnesses. 100% of school trade unions actively implemented plans to mobilize employees to support the construction of the "Union Shelter" Fund, the gratitude Temple Fund, the Children's Protection Fund... with an amount of over 5 billion VND.
100% of grassroots trade unions in the school sector have effectively implemented the emulation movement "Good teaching - good learning", 64 union officials and teachers with outstanding achievements in the movement have been commended and rewarded by the District Labor Federation. At the end of the 2024-2025 school year, many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in trade union activities and the labor movement were commended and rewarded by trade unions at all levels.
The contest "Flexible Com - Sweet Canh" has a team of union members and teachers from schools participating with a total of 276 videos. As a result, the District Labor Federation won the second prize for the collective, and 16 individuals with outstanding achievements were also rewarded. With the video composition contest "For the green homeland of Tien Lang" launched by the District Labor Federation, the Organizing Committee received 108 entries. The works ensure the quality and criteria of the Organizing Committee, contributing to building a green - clean - beautiful environment in the agency, unit as well as the whole district.
At the conference, the Tien Lang District Labor Federation also announced the decision to dissolve 93 grassroots unions with 3,264 union members, and transfer 46 enterprise-based unions with 7,000 union members to the City Labor Federation.
