According to information from Hai Phong City authorities, the fire broke out at 11:31 p.m. on November 23 at Dong A Hwasung Vina Co., Ltd. (address: Lot K4, Trang Due Industrial Park, Le Loi Commune, An Duong District). Although there were no casualties, the fire destroyed more than 1,000 square meters of the factory containing washing machine components, shelves, and shelves.
It is known that Dong A Hwasung Vina Co., Ltd. currently has 128 union members. At the time of the fire, the company had about 80 workers working the night shift. When the incident was discovered, the workers promptly ran outside. As of November 25, the company has temporarily suspended the workers while the police investigate and determine the cause of the fire.
At the enterprise, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation awarded 20 million VND to support the company damaged by the fire.

The Hai Phong City Labor Federation assigned the Hai Phong Economic Zone Trade Union to advise and propose a plan to support nearly 130 union members and workers of Dong A Hwasung Vina Co., Ltd., especially as the Lunar New Year is approaching. Thereby, promptly encouraging workers with the motto "all union members and workers have Tet".
The representative of the Board of Directors of Dong A Hwasung Vina Co., Ltd. thanked the Hai Phong City Trade Union for their timely attention and encouragement to the enterprise during this difficult time. The company also hopes that the authorities will soon complete the investigation of the fire so that the enterprise can count the damage and have a plan to reorganize production as soon as possible to ensure jobs and income for workers.
