Initial information, at 11:31 p.m. on November 23, Center 114 of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hai Phong City Police received a report from local residents about a fire at Dong A Hwasung Vina Company Limited (address: Lot K4, Trang Due Industrial Park, Le Loi Commune, An Duong District).
Upon receiving the news, Center 114 mobilized forces and vehicles including 2 fire trucks of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of An Duong District Police, and 1 vehicle of Team Area 4.
Initially, authorities determined that the fire occurred at the company's plastic components factory.
By the morning of November 24, the fire had been basically extinguished, preventing it from spreading to neighboring areas. Initial statistics show that the fire did not cause any human casualties. Property damage is currently being assessed.
According to locals, the fire engulfed the entire thousand square meter factory, with smoke rising hundreds of meters high.
Currently, authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
