Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Lan - President of the Quang Ngai Provincial Labor Federation has just sent a document to the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province on coordinating to resolve the issue of late payment of social insurance for workers.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Lan, in recent times, most units and enterprises in the province have well implemented the provisions of the law on regimes and policies for employees, contributing to stabilizing jobs, improving working conditions and increasing income for employees.
However, through monitoring and grasping the situation from the grassroots, there are currently many units and enterprises that owe wages and social insurance to workers. As of April 30, 2025, there are 700 units and enterprises that are 3 months or more behind on social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance for 3,456 employees, with a total amount of late payment (including interest) of over 129.8 billion VND.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Lan, to contribute to protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers, the Standing Committee of the Quang Ngai Provincial Labor Federation respectfully requests the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province to pay attention to directing relevant departments, branches, localities and units to resolve the issue. In particular, strengthen inspection and supervision of compliance with labor laws, handle the situation of units and enterprises owing wages and social insurance to employees.
According to the detailed list of units that are late in paying social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance for 3 months or more, publicly announced on the Quang Ngai Provincial Social Insurance Electronic Information Portal - many units have been late in paying social insurance for many years such as: Licogi Quang Ngai Joint Stock Company is late in paying for 66 months, the total amount of late social insurance payment is over 7.8 billion VND;
Tra Tan Quang Ngai Forestry One Member Co., Ltd. is 70 months late in paying social insurance with a total late payment of over 567 million VND; Viet Linh One Member Co., Ltd. is 144 months late in paying social insurance with a total late payment of over 219 million VND; Khanh Nguyen Construction Company Limited is 158 months late in paying social insurance with a total late payment of over 413 million VND.
Hoang Uy Trading & XD Company Limited was late in paying for 130 months with a total late payment of over VND455 million; Dai Nguyen Trading & Service Joint Stock Company was late in paying social insurance for 86 months with a total late payment of over VND346 million; Lilama Joint Stock Company was late in paying for 39 months with a total late payment of over VND8.2 billion.
The Northern Construction Investment and Development Joint Stock Company branch in Quang Ngai was late in paying for 67 months with a total late payment of over VND 685 million; Dung Quat College of Economics and Technology Company Limited was late in paying for 103 months with a total amount of over VND 1 billion.
