To celebrate the 71st anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 – February 27, 2026), on the morning of February 27, the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation organized a delegation to visit and congratulate the leadership, officials, civil servants, public employees, and laborers at the Department of Health.
At the meeting, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial Labor Federation Nguyen Nhat Tien respectfully acknowledged and highly appreciated the important contributions of the health sector in the cause of caring for, protecting and improving people's health; and at the same time sent wishes for health, happiness and continued to excellently complete the assigned tasks.
The activity also shows the concern and close coordination between the Trade Union organization and the health sector, contributing to encouraging the team of doctors to continue to contribute to the cause of protecting and taking care of people's health.
Previously, on the afternoon of February 16 (December 29th of the lunar calendar), the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation organized delegations to visit, encourage, and give Tet gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances who work in environmental sanitation; union members and medical staff working on New Year's Eve during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.
Visiting, encouraging, and giving gifts to union members and workers in the health sector on duty on New Year's Eve is a very meaningful activity. In the moment of New Year's transition, when everyone is gathered with their families, they are still diligently working. The doctors and nurses are straining themselves in emergency shifts, above all, they have a sense of responsibility for their work, they are very worthy of attention, sharing, and encouragement.
