Attending the conference were members of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of Viet Tri Ward Trade Union; members of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of grassroots trade unions; heads and deputy heads of trade union groups under grassroots trade unions directly under Viet Tri Ward Trade Union.
At the conference, delegates were updated on important contents of the policy and legal system directly related to trade union organizations and workers.
The content focuses on the Labor Code; the Law on Implementation of Democracy at the Grassroots level; the Trade Union Law; the Employment Law; the 2024 Law on Social Insurance; the Law on Occupational Safety and Health, along with decrees, guiding documents and related regulations.
One of the contents of concern is negotiation skills, signing collective labor agreements. Through this, trade union officials improve their capacity to participate in dialogue and negotiation with employers, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations at enterprises.
In addition, the conference exchanged views on regimes and policies for female workers and issues that trade union officials need to pay attention to when performing the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
Delegates also directly raised difficulties and obstacles arising in the practice of trade union activities. Issues related to policies, laws, and legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers were discussed and answered.
Through the conference, the team of Viet Tri Ward Trade Union officials and affiliated grassroots trade unions were promptly updated with new regulations, and at the same time improved their knowledge and skills in performing tasks.
This activity contributes to improving the effectiveness of trade union activities, better meeting the requirements of representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
