On the evening of October 2, the Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor announced that it had just organized the admission of union members and established the Hoa Phat Dung Quat Equipment Manufacturing Company Limited's grassroots union.
Accordingly, the Provincial Federation of Labor awarded the Decision to admit 425 workers and employees of Hoa Phat Dung Quat Equipment Manufacturing Company Limited into the Vietnam Trade Union; announced the Decision to establish the Company's grassroots Trade Union; recognized the Executive Committee, Inspection Committee and positions in the Executive Committee, Inspection Committee of the Company's grassroots Trade Union for the 2025 - 2030 term.
Mr. Pham Thanh Phuoc was elected Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union. On this occasion, the Provincial Federation of Labor presented 10 gifts to workers, each worth 1 million VND.
Hoa Phat Dung Quat Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. belongs to Hoa Phat Group, operating in Dung Quat Economic Zone in the fields of equipment manufacturing, mechanical processing, metal coating and embankment.
The Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor currently manages 411 grassroots unions with nearly 85,825 union members, of which Kon Tum province (old) has 134 grassroots unions with nearly 7,500 union members.
