On December 5, the Standing Committee of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor (VFF) held an expanded Executive Committee Conference to discuss and contribute opinions on the documents of the 14th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the revised and supplemented Trade Union Charter and the documents of the 1st Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
The conference was attended by members of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, term XI, and Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of grassroots trade unions of enterprises with 500 or more employees.
In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor - emphasized that the goal of the conference is to promote democracy, focus on the intelligence of building documents that are truly the crystallization of the pioneering, breakthrough, innovative and creative spirit of the collective of cadres, union members and trade union organizations.
The delegates basically agreed on the content of the draft Congress Documents, the draft Report of the Executive Committee of the 13th Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the draft amendments and supplements to the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.
The conference also focused on in-depth and quality discussions on breakthroughs and digital transformation, including: improving the quality of trade union activities, propaganda, education, dissemination of laws, innovating methods of operation, applying science and technology, building "Digital Trade Union", managing "Digital Trade Union members"; at the same time, promoting training, fostering the quality of trade union officials and skills and abilities of union members and employees to adapt to the new situation.
