In 2025, the Long An Provincial Federation of Labor will implement 15 targets assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. On that basis, the Long An Provincial Federation of Labor assigned targets to the direct superior trade union and the grassroots trade union under the Provincial Federation of Labor. For the Trade Union at the grassroots level, each unit has 23 - 35 targets, all of which have targets for developing union members. In particular, the Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union has a target of developing 25,000 union members out of a total of 45,000 in the province.
In particular, grassroots trade unions under the Provincial Federation of Labor are assigned 7 - 9 targets such as the rate of union members in enterprises, collective labor agreements of type B or higher, adjustment of shift meal value, propaganda work, etc.
Chairman of the Long An Provincial Federation of Labor Nguyen Van Qui shared that the target of developing 45,000 new union members is a difficult task. To achieve this assigned target, Trade Unions at all levels need to develop specific plans, change methods of operation, proactively approach business owners and workers to propagate and encourage workers to join the Trade Union organization.
