Accordingly, on the evening of January 24, the unit paid 30% of the salary owed to employees at the dialogue on January 3. And continued to pay on January 25 and 26 and strived to complete 50% by tomorrow, January 27 (ie December 28).
"The total salary debt of Mai Linh Nha Trang's employees is about 2 billion VND. Since January 24, the unit has paid 400 million VND and on the evening of January 24, the group transferred an additional 600 million VND to pay the employees. However, at this time, the bank has stopped transactions, so the accounting department has to make manual payments. The unit is trying to complete the payment of 50% of the salary debt to the employees by tomorrow (January 27)" - Mai Linh Nha Trang representative informed.
Mr. Pham Tien - one of the workers who was owed 33 million VND in salary from July to November said he had received 50% of the owed salary.
"The company has kept its commitment to pay 50% of my salary and that of some of my colleagues. I am excited because this money is coming in time for my family to prepare for Tet" - Mr. Tien shared.
According to the salary payment schedule that Mai Linh Nha Trang committed to, before January 24, it will pay at least 50% of salary, and the remaining 50% before March 30 for all employees.
Regarding outstanding social insurance debt, in the first quarter of 2025, the Company commits to pay social insurance to close the books and pay salaries to 7/31 employees according to the list of working minutes on January 3. The unit commits to pay the remaining amount according to the schedule before June 30, 2025.
