After completing the arrangement of the two-level local government, Cam Duong Ward Trade Union officially went into operation from July 31, 2025.
In a short time, the Trade Union Executive Committee quickly consolidated the organization, stabilized the apparatus, launched many practical emulation movements, contributing to completing the political and professional tasks of the locality.
Right from the early days, the Ward Trade Union has proactively grasped the living and working situation of union members and workers; closely coordinated with the government and businesses to effectively implement the Law on Implementation of Democracy at the Grassroots level, promptly resolve regimes and policies, and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
Currently, Cam Duong Ward Trade Union manages 46 grassroots trade unions with more than 3,000 union members. Although newly put into operation, the unit has implemented many practical care programs, aimed at workers.
Prominent are activities such as "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party", "Trade Union Meal", "Campaign 168", "Warm hearts of patients - Valuing union members", "0-dong booth"...
From these programs, the trade union has mobilized hundreds of millions of VND to support union members, workers and people in difficult circumstances. Hundreds of gifts have been handed directly to workers and laborers; many poor patients and students have been supported promptly, contributing to reducing difficulties in life.
Not only taking care of union members, the Ward Trade Union also coordinates with businesses and health units to organize medical examinations, health consultations, and free medicine distribution for people in residential areas, thereby spreading the spirit of sharing and community cohesion.
In parallel with care work, patriotic emulation movements are widely deployed, attracting a large number of union members to participate. Many movements such as "Good labor, creative labor", "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring labor safety and hygiene" have been effective, contributing to improving labor productivity and quality.
The ward trade union also actively develops organizations, establishing 6 new grassroots trade unions, admitting more than 100 union members, gradually expanding the "common home" of workers.
In particular, the trade union has focused on mobilizing businesses to improve working conditions, improve the quality of meals, organize periodic health check-ups, and ensure labor safety and hygiene.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue, Chairwoman of Cam Duong Ward Trade Union - said that in the coming time, the trade union will continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; promote digital transformation, and strengthen grasping the thoughts and aspirations of workers.
In addition, improve the quality of emulation movements, contributing to building a truly reliable support for union members.
