Right from the beginning of the year, the Trade Union of Cam Duong ward, Lao Cai province has proactively implemented a series of practical activities towards workers.
The focus is on the Tet care program with a total budget of more than 529 million VND, from the support of the upper-level Labor Federation, trade union funds and socialization.
Through programs such as "Tet reunion - Spring of gratitude to the Party", "Warm hearts of patients - Full solidarity of union members", hundreds of union members and workers in difficult circumstances have been supported with cash, gifts and necessities.


Many meaningful activities such as distributing free porridge, cutting hair for patients, giving gifts to poor students... contribute to spreading the spirit of sharing in the community.
In addition, the ward trade union also coordinates with units and businesses to organize visits and encourage workers at the grassroots level; deploy 0-dong booths, and provide timely support to difficult cases.
After Tet, care activities continue to be maintained, including giving ao dai to female workers on the occasion of March 8th.

Not only focusing on caring for life, Cam Duong Ward Trade Union also promotes propaganda and mobilization of union members to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws; actively participate in emulation movements, cultural and sports activities in the locality.
Notably, in the first quarter, the unit established 2 more grassroots trade unions, admitting 35 new union members.
This is considered an important step to expand the organization, strengthen the representative role, and protect the rights of workers, especially in the non-state sector.

On March 21, in an exchange with reporters, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue - Chairwoman of Cam Duong Ward Trade Union - said: "The Trade Union always identifies the central task as caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
In the coming time, we will continue to closely coordinate with grassroots trade unions and businesses to implement more practical activities, especially during Workers' Month and Labor Safety and Hygiene Month”.
Stepping into the second quarter of 2026, Cam Duong Ward Trade Union determined to continue to promote activities towards grassroots levels, strengthen grasping the situation of workers, and promptly support difficult cases.
At the same time, the unit focuses on developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions, contributing to building an increasingly strong trade union organization.
With specific and practical activities, Cam Duong Ward Trade Union is gradually affirming its role as a reliable support for union members and workers in the area.
