On May 22, at An Tuong Primary School, the Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) of Tuyen Quang province and the provincial Department of Agriculture and Environment held a launching ceremony to respond to World Environment Day on June 5, continuing to implement the Movement "Tuyen Quang joins hands to treat waste and fight plastic waste" in 2025.
At the ceremony, the organizing committee launched and called for the attention and participation of agencies, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and people to implement solutions to protect the environment.
Rationally using natural resources, biodiversity and responding to climate change. Control and solve plastic waste pollution, increase recycling, promote the building of a green economy, a circular economy and sustainable development.
Continue to effectively implement the movement "Tuyen Quang joins hands to treat waste and combat plastic waste" associated with the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas".
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee presented 10 garbage trucks to self-management groups and schools in An Tuong ward.
After the launching ceremony, delegates and people marched to participate in flower planting activities using plastic baskets, exchanging plastic waste for trees, and cleaning the environment.
