On the afternoon of February 5, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra visited and presented Tet gifts to people with meritorious services, poor households and workers in difficult circumstances in Dong Thap province. Accompanying him were Mr. Ngo Van Cuong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, central organizations; Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
On behalf of the Party and State leaders and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra sent to the leaders of Dong Thap province and all people good wishes for a new year.
The Deputy Prime Minister expressed his excitement at the outstanding results that Dong Thap province achieved in 2025 and expressed his wish that each citizen and each family will celebrate a more meaningful, warmer, more meaningful and more fulfilling Tet; and at the same time continue to promote the spirit of effort, overcome difficulties to rise up, improve the lives of their own families and contribute to building a more and more developed homeland and country. This is also the message and wish that the Party, State, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front send to the people during Tet and Spring.
The Deputy Prime Minister also wished the locality to continue to encourage and motivate people and workers to overcome difficulties, join forces to contribute to the socio-economic development of the country and Dong Thap homeland; building Vietnam to become increasingly rich, prosperous, civilized and happy.
On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra presented 100 Tet gifts to poor and near-poor households... Among them, 50 gifts were for workers and laborers in difficult circumstances in Dong Thap province. Each gift is worth 2.3 million VND, including 2 million VND in cash and a gift basket worth 300 thousand VND. Also on this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Ba (88 years old, residing in Long Thuan neighborhood, My Phong ward) whose husband and children are martyrs.
