According to ManpowerGroup's latest recruitment trend survey, the information industry increased net recruitment by 64% in Q4/2026.

According to ManpowerGroup's latest recruitment trend survey, in Q4/2026, recruitment prospects in Vietnam increased by 8 percentage points compared to Q3/2026, with 52% of surveyed businesses expecting to increase personnel scale. Net recruitment prospects (NEO) of Vietnam reached 36% in Q4/2026.

ManpowerGroup believes that expanding business operations continues to be the main driving force promoting recruitment demand, while automation is one of the main reasons leading to the intention to cut recruitment.

The information sector leads in recruitment demand with NEO reaching 64%.

The strongest recruitment demand is recorded in the Northern region and the group of businesses with a scale of 50-249 employees. Businesses in Vietnam are increasing the recruitment of new personnel into the profession compared to 2025, especially in technical, AI, information technology and data positions.

Not all businesses record improved recruitment rates compared to 2025. The shortage of talent and the disparity between candidates' expectations and job requirements are the main factors affecting recruitment rates," ManpowerGroup said.

It is forecasted that in the fourth quarter of 2026, Vietnam's net recruitment prospects will be higher than the average of the Asia-Pacific & Middle East region (APME) and globally. Notably, Vietnam ranks 3rd in the APME region and 11th out of 42 markets surveyed globally.

ManpowerGroup's Q4/2026 Recruitment Trends survey was conducted from July 1 to July 31, 2026, collecting opinions from nearly 40,000 businesses in 42 countries and territories. In Vietnam, out of 285 surveyed businesses, 52% expect to increase recruitment in Q4/2026, 16% expect to reduce recruitment and 32% plan to maintain the current personnel scale.
