According to the Hanoi Employment Service Center, based on a survey, collecting information on 8,421 recruitment targets of 1,200 vacant job information at the Center, it shows that recruitment demand is concentrated in the following industry groups: Wholesale, retail and other service activities accounting for 54%; followed by the processing and manufacturing - construction industry accounting for 25.8%; tourism and travel services accounting for 5.7%; transportation - warehousing activities accounting for 3.3%...
In June, businesses continued to focus on strongly hunting for workers with good professional qualifications and skills. Leading the entire market in recruitment demand is the group of mid-level professionals (accounting for 21.42%), senior professionals (accounting for 19%) and office assistants (accounting for 18.08%).
In the opposite direction, the direct labor force at the production line and frontline groups have recruitment needs at a moderate to fairly good level. Specifically, mechanics operating machinery and equipment (accounting for 10.50%), service and sales staff (accounting for 9.5%) and simple labor (accounting for 9.17%).
This shows that the Hanoi labor market is setting very high screening standards, where high-quality personnel in the professional, office and technical blocks continue to have a great negotiating advantage," said a representative of the Hanoi Employment Service Center.
The recruitment structure according to professional and technical qualifications in June is clearly shown with a strong differentiation trend. The peak segment (people with college and university degrees or higher) accounts for an overwhelming proportion of up to 51.3% (of which universities reached 28.5%, colleges reached 22.4%) to establish a management and deep expertise framework for businesses.
The bottom segment (untrained labor accounts for 19.3% and unskilled technical workers account for 12.4%) is maintained at 31.7% to operate daily direct work.
Meanwhile, the segment between intermediate level (13.7%) and elementary level (3.4%) has been significantly narrowed, remaining only a total of 17.1%.
According to the industry structure, other service activities account for an absolute proportion of 50.8%, followed by the processing and manufacturing industry (18.3%) and construction (7.5%). The real estate industry, although having flexible recruitment strategies, only accounts for a very small part (0.4%) of the total market demand.
Regarding the salary offered by businesses, the salary range of 10-20 million VND/month accounts for an absolute leading position with 51.7%; the salary range of 5-10 million VND/month ranks second with 35% and the high salary range over 20 million VND/month accounts for 13.4%.
The technical - construction block still maintains its isolated breakthrough with the income of engineers, highly skilled workers and professional mechanics ranging from 16-65 million VND/month depending on the job position.
