Officials in public service units who quit their jobs due to redundancy when rearranging commune-level administrative units in Quang Binh province are entitled to support.

Resolution No. 72/2024/NQ-HDND of the People's Council of Quang Binh province (effective from July 21, 2024) stipulates the policy to support cadres, civil servants, part-time workers at the commune level and public employees in public service units who quit their jobs due to redundancy when rearranging commune-level administrative units in Quang Binh province.

Accordingly, one of the three subjects of the Resolution is civil servants who quit their jobs due to redundancy when reorganizing public service units at the commune level to rearrange administrative units.

Support level: In addition to the policies and regimes implemented according to regulations, civil servants who quit their jobs due to redundancy when rearranging commune-level administrative units will receive additional support as follows:

Supported with 5 months of current salary/person;

Each year of work with social insurance payment will be supported with an additional 1.5 months of basic salary at the time of leaving work.

In case an employee in a public service unit holds another position concurrently, the concurrent positions are not eligible for support.

Officials in public service units who retire due to reaching the retirement age as prescribed at the time of administrative unit arrangement are not eligible for this support level.
