The salary situation and bonus levels expected for workers during Tet 2026 are basically equivalent to and higher than during Tet 2025.
In which, the average salary of employees in 2025 is 12,720,000 VND/person/month (equal to 112.8% compared to 2024). The highest salary is 291.1 million VND/month (for 1 position with the highest salary); the lowest salary is 2.5 million VND/month.
For the group of one-member limited liability companies 100% owned by the state and enterprises with shares and state capital contributions, the average salary of employees in 2025 is 17,350,000 VND/person/month (equal to 103.9% compared to 2024); the highest salary (of 1 position reaching the highest salary) is 113 million VND/month; the lowest salary is 4.45 million VND/month.
For private enterprises, the average salary of employees in 2025 is 8,210,000 VND/person/month (equal to 109.5% compared to 2024); the highest salary (of 1 position reaching the highest salary) is 291.10 million VND/month; the lowest salary is 2.5 million VND/month (for some part-time workers).

For foreign-invested enterprises, the average salary of employees in 2025 is 9,420,000 VND/person/month (equal to 95.4% compared to 2024); the highest salary (of 1 position reaching the highest salary) is 100 million VND/month; the lowest salary is 4 million VND/month (because employees work part-time, not enough working days).
Meanwhile, according to the Quang Ninh Provincial Labor Federation, from 2023 to now, most workers, civil servants, and laborers have improved incomes, large enterprises maintain stability; average income in 2024 reached 12.7 million VND/month.
However, improved income is mainly due to the increase in regional minimum wage and base salary according to Decree No. 24/2023/ND-CP, stipulating the base salary for cadres, civil servants, public employees and armed forces; Decree No. 38/2022/ND-CP dated June 12, 2022 and Decree 74/2024/ND-CP dated June 30, 2024 of the Government, stipulating the minimum wage for employees working under labor contracts.
In which, the block of private enterprises has an average income of 7.5 - 9.5 million VND/person/month; the block of FDI enterprises from 9.1 - 9.8 million VND/person/month; the block of 100% state-owned enterprises from 10.3 - 16.7 million VND/person/month; the block of enterprises with state-controlled shares and capital contributions is about 11.9 million VND/person/month.
The average income of workers in the Coal industry is still at the top, with about 17.5 million VND/person/month, an increase of about 9% compared to 2023.
