On January 16, implementing the direction of the Politburo and the Secretariat on the expected work of introducing personnel to run for National Assembly deputies, the Government Inspectorate consulted with voters in their workplace with Mr. Nguyen Quoc Doan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Standing Deputy Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate to introduce candidates for National Assembly deputies of the XVI term, term 2026-2031.
At the conference, voters listened to a summary of the biography and a submission introducing Mr. Nguyen Quoc Doan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Standing Deputy Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate to participate in the election of National Assembly deputies of the XVI term; and were disseminated the provisions of law on standards and conditions for candidates for National Assembly deputies.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Doan is a high-level leader of the Party, well-trained, with solid political bravery, pure moral qualities, exemplary lifestyle, and high prestige in the Party, in the political system and among the people.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Doan was born in 1975, from Ninh Binh province. He was professionally trained in Economic Crime Investigation (People's Police Academy); PhD degree in Law majoring in Criminology and Crime Investigation. Political theory level: Advanced.
He has rich and diverse experience in many fields, has held many important positions in central and local agencies such as: Deputy Head of Department, Head of Department at the Economic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security), and also Secretary for leaders of the Ministry of Public Security; later appointed Head of the Economic Police Department - Deputy Head of the Investigation Police Agency of Quang Ninh Provincial Police; Member of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Waterway Police Department - Ministry of Public Security.
From 2018, he successively held the positions of Deputy Commander of the Mobile Police Command, Director of Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police, Standing Deputy Secretary of Thua Thien Hue Provincial Party Committee (now Hue city). In January 2021, at the 13th National Congress, he was elected as a member of the 13th Central Committee of the Party, term 2021 - 2026.
In July 2021, he was transferred and appointed by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee. In 2024, he was appointed Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court. On November 4, 2025, he was appointed by the Prime Minister to hold the position of Standing Deputy Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate.
With his great contributions in his work, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Doan was awarded the First-class Military Exploit Medal (in 2014); the title of National Emulation Soldier (in 2020) and the Medal of Glorious Soldier of First, Second, and Third Class.
At the conference, after democratic discussions, 100% of the Government Inspectorate voters agreed and agreed to introduce Mr. Nguyen Quoc Doan as a candidate for the 16th National Assembly term, showing high solidarity and consensus. Immediately after that, the Government Inspectorate continued to organize a collective meeting of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and leaders of the Government Inspectorate to expand according to regulations; the conference once again agreed to introduce Mr. Nguyen Quoc Doan to participate in the election of the 16th National Assembly term.
