It is known that Mr. Tinh has had to rent a house for 22 years.
Born in 1995, Ms. Doan Thi Thao has 6 years of experience as a worker in Thang Long Industrial Park (Dong Anh District, Hanoi). With a total income of 9-10 million VND, Ms. Thao has to work overtime 30-40 hours/month. At this time, the company still organizes overtime. Overall assessment of the year, Ms. Thao said: "This year, work is quite stable, income is 1-1.5 million VND/month higher than last year."
However, currently, according to the female worker from Tuyen Quang, the high cost of living has made her salary not much.
Talking about expectations for 2025, female workers hope that the regional minimum wage will continue to increase, along with price control, only then will workers' salaries truly be enough to live on.
Talking about his wishes for 2025, Mr. Tran Van Khang (35 years old) - a worker assembling electronic components in Thang Long Industrial Park (Dong Anh district, Hanoi) said that he hopes that this year his work will be more favorable at his new company. On the other hand, the male worker from Thanh Hoa also hopes that the price of houses and land will not increase too much so that people working far from home like him have the opportunity to settle down.

Ms. Phung Thanh Tam - Vice President of the Hoa Binh City Labor Federation - said that in 2025, all levels of trade unions in Hoa Binh City will step up the dissemination and implementation of the Trade Union Law (amended) and the Social Insurance Law (amended), and contribute comments to the draft Law on Employment (amended). Mr. Cu Phat Nghiep - Chairman of the Union of PouYuen Vietnam Company (Ho Chi Minh City) - said that the company currently has nearly 40,000 employees, of which the rate of employees having to rent accommodation to live and work is quite high.
The new Trade Union Law 2024 passed by the National Assembly also stipulates that one of the tasks of trade union finance is to invest in building social housing for union members and workers to rent or buy.
“I hope that trade unions at all levels will quickly implement legal regulations to build social housing for workers and laborers to rent. Because when workers have stable housing, they will feel secure in their work and be more attached to their businesses. Businesses with stable labor will develop and contribute to the country's socio-economic development,” said Mr. Nghiep.
