Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Nhi - Vice President of Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation said that the Workshop "Improving the quality of activities of mass women's unions" is a practical activity to celebrate the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 2010 - March 8, 2025), 1985 the anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising.

The workshop aims to identify key solutions to improve the quality of activities of the mass women's union, contributing to the successful implementation of targets and tasks on women's work according to the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Resolution of the Can Tho City General Confederation of Labor, Resolution of the Nghe An Provincial General Confederation of Labor for the 2023 - 2028 term.

This is also an opportunity for union officials of Can Tho city and Nghe An province to exchange, learn experiences, help and support each other to successfully complete the functions and tasks of the Trade Union organization.

At the workshop, delegates listened to discussions on new models and good practices of the activities of the provincial-level women's union; solutions to improve the direction of the activities of grassroots trade union women's unions, focus on the role of representing and protecting and caring for female workers; solutions to improve the quality of activities of the grassroots women's union; introduce and share the model of effective women's work activities at foreign-invested enterprise grassroots trade unions; solutions to effectively organize women's work activities at FDI enterprise grassroots trade unions.

Concluding the conference, Mr. Doan Van Dung - Vice President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation thanked and highly appreciated the opinions and enthusiastic speeches and responsibilities of the delegates.

At the same time, he suggested that Can Tho City Trade Union officials need to study and pay attention to the good practices of Nghe An Trade Union that have been shared to apply in practice. In addition, the team of union officials also needs to reform and reinforce cultural contents to apply to each unit.

On behalf of the working delegation, the Vice President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation thanked the leaders of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation for their attention, support, and creating conditions for Can Tho Trade Union officials to access many models and creative ways of doing women's work.
