Establishing the Women's Union in 100 grassroots unions

    Hanoi – In Ba Dinh district, after the Trade Union Congress, the Women's Union was established in 100% of the State-owned grassroots trade unions.

    Mass women's unions were also established in 80% of grassroots trade unions in the non-state sector.

    The Women's Unions at all levels of the Trade Union have been performing well their role of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of female union members and workers, especially proactively advising and proposing to employers policies that are more beneficial to female workers.

    To effectively carry out the Women's Work and the Inspection and Supervision work, the Ba Dinh District Labor Federation always pays attention to training and improving the professional qualifications of grassroots Trade Union officials in general, and officials working on Women's Work and the Inspection and Supervision work in particular.

    According to Ms. Le Thi Thuy Kieu - Vice President of Ba Dinh District Labor Federation, the District Labor Federation coordinated with the District Political Training Center to organize training on Women's work and Trade Union Inspection and Supervision work in 2024 for 230 Trade Union officials.

    Thereby, consolidating and improving the expertise and professionalism of cadres working in Women's Affairs and Inspection and Supervision at the grassroots level, especially improving the quality and efficiency of work in this field.
