Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front Party Committee (FPA), Central Trade Unions, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Party Secretary, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) chaired the conference.
Attending were representatives of the Central Organizing Committee, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, and the Central Inspection Committee.
Speaking at the opening of the conference, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee, Central Trade Unions, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Party Secretary, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor said that the conference is an important event in the process of implementing the Resolution of the first Party Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and concretizing the action program in the entire Party.
According to Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang, since the first Party Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, term 2025-2030, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee has urgently organized a study on the implementation of the Resolution, developed an action program to implement the Resolution and directed departments and units to urgently concretize the goals, targets, and breakthroughs associated with the political tasks of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. The Executive Committee has also given its written opinions on the working regulations of the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and assigned tasks in the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for the 2025 - 2030 term.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang said that in the context that the entire trade union system is actively preparing to implement trade union congresses at all levels, it is necessary to continue to seriously implement the policies, Resolutions and Conclusions of the Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat as well as the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, central organizations, aiming to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the entire Party Committee's activities, as well as the activities of the entire trade union system nationwide.
The conference will focus on discussing and giving opinions on key contents, including report on the results of work in the first 9 months of 2025, key tasks for the last 3 months of the year; Work program of the Party Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for the 2025-2030 term.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang suggested that members of the Party Executive Committee promote a sense of responsibility and democracy, carefully study the drafts, discuss in depth, and contribute opinions. The Standing Committee of the Party Committee will absorb and complete them as a basis for implementation.
