Today (the 6th day of Tet), hundreds of cars of underground coal mining companies of Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (TKV) simultaneously welcomed miners and relatives from their hometowns to Quang Ninh to officially return to work on February 23 (the 7th day of Tet) after the Binh Ngo Tet holiday.
Previously, TKV arranged 314 train and bus trips to take 11,887 miners and their families from Quang Ninh back to their hometowns for Tet; supported 20,000 bus tickets for workers in remote and isolated areas who did not arrange shuttle buses with a total amount of 16.3 billion VND.
Quang Hanh Coal Company, the first underground mining unit, organized buses to go to their hometowns to pick up miners and relatives to Quang Ninh on the 5th day of Tet.
To create the most favorable conditions for workers, the Company has mobilized 11 high-quality bus trips, spreading throughout the provinces and cities in the Northwest, Northern and Central regions to welcome workers back to the unit.

The schedule is scientifically designed with 2 main departure times being 6:30 am and 1:00 pm, ensuring coverage of key areas, such as: Southern route welcoming in Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Thanh Hoa, Ninh Binh; Northern & Northwest route connecting Dien Bien, Son La, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang; Inner region & surrounding route passing through Hung Yen, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Hai Duong, Bac Ninh...This professionalism helps miners and their families to be completely assured about the journey back to the unit after the warm Tet holidays.
Organizing "two-way" trips (bringing workers home and welcoming them back to work) has long become a cultural beauty of TKV.This solution solves the difficult problem of transportation during peak seasons, helping miners feel secure in enjoying the joy with their families and return to the unit on schedule.
Meanwhile, open-pit coal mining companies and some other units of TKV, which often do not have workers in distant provinces and cities, have started spring mining from the 4th day of Tet.
In which, on the morning of the 4th day of Tet, Deo Nai Coal - Coc Sau Joint Stock Company organized the Spring opening and resumed work after the Lunar New Year holiday of Binh Ngo in 2026. This is one of the largest open-pit mines of TKV.
Immediately after the spring opening program, construction sites and workshops simultaneously launched production, inspected equipment and vehicles, arranged reasonable human resources, ensuring technical conditions, labor safety and environment. The atmosphere of urgent and serious labor spread throughout construction sites and workshops, showing the determination to successfully complete the 2026 production and business plan.

Also on the morning of the 4th day of Tet, Cao Son Coal Joint Stock Company officially launched production, exploiting the first ton of coal with the goal of determinedly completing and exceeding the targets right from the first days and first months of the Binh Ngo year.
Mr. Pham Quoc Viet - Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Company - along with leaders, Heads of Departments, and Forecasters came to wish Tet, encourage officials, employees, and workers, and organize the opening of spring production in the new year of Binh Ngo.
2026 is forecast to be a difficult and very challenging year for Cao Son Coal. Therefore, units have proactively inspected and maintained the entire motorbike system before the Tet holiday to ensure the highest readiness rate for the new year; Compliance with operating discipline, ensuring technical and labor safety, determined to implement the goal of "Solidarity - Safety - Innovation - Development".
At Cua Ong Coal Selection Company, right in the first production shift of the year on the 4th day of Tet, Cua Ong Port continuously welcomed 3 ships docking to "eat" coal, creating favorable momentum for the consumption plan for the whole year. Specifically on February 20, 2026 (the 4th day of Tet), the total consumption of the whole Company reached 57,278 tons, ensuring timely fuel supply for domestic thermal power plants and coal exports to the Dutch market.
