The incident happened at noon on the same day on National Highway 4C, passing through Na Khoang village, Quan Ba commune (Tuyen Quang).
At that time, a paraglider pilot with an engine encountered an incident and collided with the car below. The collision shattered the windshield.
It is known that the paragliding location originated about 100m from the crash site.
Also according to the Chairman of Quan Ba Commune People's Committee, the paragliding point above belongs to Sang Phang commune, former Dong Ha, licensed to a paragliding service business for several years now.
The collision caused traffic congestion on the route lasting more than 1km.
Present at the scene, Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan (Minh Xuan, Tuyen Quang province) said that at that time there were many parachutes flying very low. One parachute may have fallen into a car parked close to the road because it got caught in an electric wire.
Seeing the collision, a few more paragliders flying low, so the vehicles did not move, causing congestion. The frame and propulsion engine of the paragliders weighing a ton were carried down from the roof of the vehicles by people.
After handling the incident, it took more than 1 hour for the vehicles to continue moving," Ms. Xuan said.
