As Lao Dong newspaper reported, at noon on February 21, a paragliding accident occurred on National Highway 4C section passing through Na Khoang village, Quan Ba commune, Tuyen Quang province.
At the above time, a paraglider pilot with a motor malfunction collided with the car below. The collision shattered the windshield, there were no casualties.
Regarding the above incident, the Tourism Department - Tuyen Quang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that at the time of the incident, the paragliding operation was a training flight, not yet organized for business exploitation, not for tourist service activities.
The parachute operator is Mr. L.V. L. (born in 1991, belonging to Ha Giang Paragliding Co., Ltd.). During a training flight at an altitude of about 20m above the ground, the engine failed to accelerate, leading to it getting caught in a telecommunications cable.

Ha Giang Paragliding Co., Ltd. has been granted an operating license by competent authorities for engine-mounted paragliding operations.
Before organizing flight practice, the unit had a flight plan and reported to competent authorities about the location and coordinates according to regulations.
Also according to the Department of Tourism - Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, at the time of the incident, the paraglider operator had been issued and completed the professional training program.
