Phu Tho Provincial Social Insurance has just issued a document coordinating with the postal system and grassroots social insurance on confirming information for people receiving monthly pensions and social insurance allowances with expired authorization documents.
Accordingly, people need to complete relevant procedures before June 30, 2026 to ensure that their rights are not interrupted.
According to the provisions of the Law on Social Insurance No. 41/2024/QH15, effective from July 1, 2025, the power of attorney to receive pensions and social insurance allowances is only valid for a maximum of 12 months from the date of establishment.
At the same time, the power of attorney documents established under the Law on Social Insurance No. 58/2014/QH13 will only be valid until the end of June 30, 2026.
Thus, cases that have authorized receiving pensions and allowances before July 1, 2025 need to re-establish the authorization document according to new regulations before the above deadline.
After this time, if the valid dossier is not fully supplemented, the payment of pensions and social insurance allowances may be affected.
To ensure continuous payment, Phu Tho Provincial Social Insurance requires relevant units to synchronously implement many solutions.
For grassroots social insurance, the key task is to review beneficiary data in the area, make a list of cases that need to be supplemented with new power of attorney documents and request documents according to Form No. 14-HSB.
Coordination between units is required to be carried out closely. Grassroots social insurance presides over the development of a coordination plan with post offices, public administrative service centers and People's Committees of communes and wards to deploy information confirmation.
