News from the Lien Chieu Ward Trade Union on May 9th said: the "Workers' Month, Solidarity Running" race in 2026, co-organized by the Trade Unions of 3 wards Hoa Khanh, Lien Chieu and Hai Van on the morning of May 10th at the connecting road to Lien Chieu Port (Hai Van ward, Da Nang city), attracted a large number of union members and workers.
This is an event in a series of practical activities to celebrate the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth and respond to Workers' Month 2026.
The race has the participation of representatives of the leaders of the Da Nang City Labor Federation; leaders of departments, branches, agencies, and related units, along with nearly 300 athletes from grassroots trade unions managed by the Trade Unions of 3 wards Hoa Khanh, Lien Chieu and Hai Van.
In particular, the Tournament has the participation of track and field athlete Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuc, the Vietnamese Marching Queen, the inspirational figure of the program.
The race with the theme "Workers' Month, Solidarity Running", is a meaningful sports activity, not only a playground for health training but also spreading the spirit of love for sports, healthy living, following Ho Chi Minh's moral example.
Mr. Le Trong Nguyen - Member of the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, Party Committee Member, Chairman of Lien Chieu Ward Trade Union, Head of the Organizing Committee, said: "The race has two competition categories (5 km for women and 10 km for men) with 2 First Prizes, 2 Second Prizes, 2 Third Prizes and 14 Consolation Prizes.
