According to reports, Mr. B.C.C - former employee of Nha Trang Public Service Management Board, currently working at the Nha Trang Wastewater Treatment Plant System Management Board under the Department of Construction of Khanh Hoa province - was assigned the task of managing and operating parking lot No. 8 on Tran Phu street under a labor contract signed in April 2025.
The work is arranged in 3 consecutive shifts per day, each shift 8 hours. According to the labor contract, employees are entitled to overtime allowances for shift 3, from 10 pm to 6 am the next morning.
From the time he was transferred to work in Tay Nha Trang ward from March 1, 2026 to now, he has not been paid for overtime in January and February 2026.
In addition, wages for working on holidays including New Year's Day January 1, 2026 and Lunar New Year 2026 have not been paid.
Employees request competent authorities to consider, inspect and resolve relevant regimes according to regulations, ensuring their legitimate rights.
Responding to the above content, Mr. Ho Hung Vu - Management Board of the Wastewater Treatment Plant System in Nha Trang area said that at the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has transferred the task of managing public utility service activities managed by the Nha Trang Public Utility Service Management Board to communes and wards for management and operation.
At the same time, transferring the functions, tasks and personnel under the management scope of this unit to the People's Committees of localities to receive.
From January 1, 2026, the tasks of managing public service activities, including 8 parking spots on the Nha Trang coastal park route, have been handed over in their original state to the People's Committees of wards for management and operation.
Specifically, 8 parking spots on the Tran Phu and Pham Van Dong beach park routes are assigned to the Public Service and Career Centers under the People's Committees of Nha Trang and Bac Nha Trang wards to directly manage and operate; implement the assignment of duty schedules and timekeeping for overtime workers.
The funding collected from these 8 parking lots is 100% left for the locality to use according to regulations.
Therefore, the responsibility for monitoring and paying overtime pay for January and February 2026 as well as wages for working on holidays and Tet in 2026 at parking lots belongs to the authority of the new management unit.
Regarding salaries and salary deductions in January and February 2026, the Nha Trang Public Service Management Board has fully paid, and at the same time closed social insurance books until the end of February 28, 2026 for employees in accordance with regulations.
