In many recent job fairs in Hanoi, the participation rate of young people is very high, mainly final year students and recent graduate bachelor students.

Ms. Tran Chau Linh, a 4th year student at the National Economics University, participated in the job fair on March 23 organized by the Hanoi Employment Service Center from early morning.

According to studying commercial finance, on the morning of March 23, Ms. Linh participated in an interview with 5 employers.

Through each interview, I learn more valuable experiences from real-life collaboration. The questions and requirements from the employer help me clearly see what the employer needs, what I lack... from there, have a self-study plan, improve myself," said Ms. Linh.

Similarly, Mr. Nguyen Phu Cuong, a 4th year student at the International Institute of Commerce and Economics (National Economics University) shared: I attended the trading session to learn about the training and development program for new employees and find an official job after graduation. I look for businesses in the fields of import-export and logistics. On the morning of March 23, I was interviewed by 3 employers. I am considered confident and have good foreign language skills.

At the job fair on March 24, Mr. Tran Minh Hoang - a 4th year student majoring in Finance - Banking (Dai Nam University) was interested in a business that has a training program for students about to graduate.

Reality and theory in class are completely different from what I imagined. When interviewed directly, young people like us could not have predicted many things. I took the opportunity to listen to additional advice from the human resources department of businesses to have a clearer direction for myself after graduation, Mr. Hung revealed.

Unlike many people's images, many businesses are willing to recruit young workers, accept retraining; even pay generous salaries for important positions, "attracting talent".

Present at the job fair on March 24, a representative of Doojung Vietnam Co., Ltd. - Ms. Dao Thoa - said that the employer is looking for personnel in two groups: production and office. The company hopes to reach graduates who are good at English. In addition to the group of personnel serving the production sector with a salary of about 10 million VND/month, salaries for positions such as marketing, accounting... will depend on the candidate's experience and skills. We are ready to receive, retrain and create conditions for young workers, Ms. Thoa added.

Also attending the job fair directly, Mr. Le Hoang Tung - Vietnam Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MSB) said that the bank will recruit 30 students and 30 new bachelors with the best graduation. The salary for new graduates is from 8 - 12 million VND/month. With the talented administrators program, the bank will propose a salary of double or even three times the normal salary, a minimum of 18 million VND/month depending on capacity" - Mr. Tung informed.
