On November 25, information from the Tuyen Quang Provincial Labor Federation, recently the Trade Unions of Binh Thuan and Son Duong wards and the Trade Union of Ha Giang Lung Hospital held the 1st Executive Committee Conference (expanded), term 2025-2030.
The conferences took place seriously and democratically, proposing many solutions to innovate trade union activities in the coming period.
On November 24, Son Duong Commune Trade Union held the first expanded Executive Committee meeting with the participation of leaders of the Commune Party Committee and the Provincial Labor Federation.
The commune union currently has 26 grassroots unions with 2,999 union members. The conference set a target that by 2030, the whole commune will have over 4,000 union members, 85% of enterprises participating in signing collective labor agreements and 90% of union members will be fully informed of policies and guidelines.
At the conference, the Provincial Federation of Labor announced the decision to appoint 7 comrades to the Executive Committee, of which comrade Nguyen Van Hoan holds the position of Chairman of the Son Duong Commune Trade Union.
In Binh Thuan ward, the conference on November 23 was attended by leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation, the Party Committee and representatives of enterprises.
The conference approved 11 targets and 8 groups of solutions; perfecting the Executive Committee of 8 comrades, of which comrade Bui Thi Dung holds the position of Chairwoman of the Ward Trade Union, and at the same time electing 2 delegates to attend the 1st Tuyen Quang Provincial Trade Union Congress.
Previously, on November 20, the Ha Giang Lung Hospital Trade Union held a conference to evaluate the 2023-2025 term, discuss the direction of the new term and announce the personnel of the Executive Committee and the Trade Union Inspection Committee, term VI.
The leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor suggested that the unit continue to promote its representative role and take better care of the lives of workers.
The conferences were a great success, creating a foundation for trade union organizations to continue to innovate, promote their representative role, and care for workers' rights in the 2025-2030 term.
