Pham Thu Trang (16 years old, Nam Dinh) said that after graduating from high school, Trang did not have any desire to continue studying but decided to work to earn an income.

"Finding a job at the age of 15 is not too difficult but the salary is quite low. Working in companies with strict time regulations, I feel more secure about salary benefits, bonuses and benefits" - Thu Trang said.
Thu Trang used to work as a waitress at restaurants with a salary of 15,000 VND/hour, each 6-hour shift received 90,000 VND/day.
When working at Song Hong Garment Company, Thu Trang was able to choose a sewing stage that suited her ability and age. Female workers are entitled to the full regime like workers of all ages.
Regarding income, Thu Trang said that even though she has only been working for 1 month and her skills are not yet proficient, her salary is nearly 6 million VND/month. The female worker also set a goal of trying to complete difficult steps within 3 months, increasing output to achieve an income of at least 8 million VND/month.
At the age of 50, Ms. Pham Thi Hong (Nam Dinh) said that although she quit her job at her old company, she is not worried about unemployment. When applying to a leather shoe company, Ms. Hong was accepted immediately after submitting her application.
"Previously, my company was recruiting only workers until the maximum age of 45. When there is less work, they are willing to cut down on older workers. At the current company, even employees over 50 years old can easily apply for jobs" - Ms. Hong said.
According to the female worker, the company does not currently require much in terms of recruitment criteria, as long as the worker is in good health and does not violate or suffer from social evils. For workers who have worked at the company, they only need to take a full three months off to be able to apply again.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan (37 years old) - owner of Tuan Duyen Garment Company Limited (Nam Dinh) - shared that to attract workers, his company had to adjust the recruitment age.

The company accepts all employees aged 15 to 55, with requirements suitable for each group of subjects.
"People who are 15 years old must commit to working for at least 3 months. Workers over 50 years old only need to know how to use sewing machines and do basic steps to be hired" - Mr. Tuan said.
For young workers, the company is ready to train until they are proficient in their skills. For older workers, the work will be allocated in accordance with the current capacity of each person.
"If the skills are good, no matter how old, this subject of labor will be passed on and assigned to many different sewing stages. If my skills are only at the basic level, I will assign more simple stages or do other work such as picking up directions and packaging" - Mr. Tuan said.
According to Mr. Tuan, expanding the labor force not only helps the company attract more workers but also creates job opportunities for many people to have more stable income for life.

Accordingly, Clause 2, Article 146 of the 2019 Labor Code stipulates: employees aged 15 to under 18 are not allowed to work more than 8 hours in 1 day and 40 hours in 1 week. People aged 15 to under 18 can work overtime and work at night in some jobs.
Prohibit the use of workers from 15 years old to under 18 years old to do the following jobs: Carrying, carrying, lifting objects that are beyond the physical condition of minors; Production, use or transportation of chemicals, gas, explosives, etc.
