Mr. Luong Van Huong has been in Hanoi for more than a week now but has not found a new job. When he was in Son Duong district, Tuyen Quang province, he and his family worked as a cattle farmer. With unstable income and wanting to find a new challenge, he decided to go find a job in Thang Long Industrial Park (Hanoi).
Taking care of them and then carefully using his phone to take pictures of the recruitment papers with job positions, he said that he had not yet found a suitable job. I see that businesses in Thang Long Industrial Park have better salary and benefits than in some other provinces. The total income of workers is quite stable, from 7.5-12 million VND/month, depending on whether the company does extra work or not" - Mr. Huong said.
Before going to Hanoi, he thought it would be quite easy to find a job as a worker, but in reality, it was not like that.
To be more precise, it is quite easy to apply for a job at companies with low recruitment requirements and normal income compared to the general level. As for companies with good incomes and many allowances, it is not easy to get involved. Therefore, although many companies are recruiting, I have not found a suitable job" - Mr. Huong said.
Mr. Huong took the recruitment exam to work as a worker at 2 companies, but was not accepted. He said that he had enough points to be accepted into the company, but due to limited recruitment, it was not his turn.
Similar to Mr. Huong, Mr. Nguyen Van Nhat has not yet found a suitable job. The young man said that it is very difficult for him to find a suitable job at this time because any company that already has enough workers will not recruit, but companies with good treatment will often not let down those who are currently working. Therefore, it is not easy to find a job with a good and suitable income.
At 2 recruitment boards located in Thang Long Industrial Park (Dong Anh District, Hanoi), in recent days, there have been many recruitment announcements from companies.
The announcements all offer attractive treatment regimes on basic salary, allowances, and subsidies. Some companies also recruit 4,000 workers. However, not all workers can easily find a suitable job.
Recruitment demand will increase in the second quarter of 2025
According to the Hanoi Employment Service Center, in March 2025, some industries will have increased recruitment demand: Processing and manufacturing industry increased by 4.0%; healthcare - healthcare activities increased by 5.0%; renewable energy and green economy increased by about 4.0%; financial, banking and insurance activities increased by about 3.5%.
The center assessed that the Hanoi labor market in March 2025 will continue to have a positive development trend. The first quarter is the time when businesses actively recruit workers to stabilize production and business activities during the year.
According to experts from ManpowerGroup Vietnam, recruitment demand will increase in many industries in the second quarter, typically the manufacturing sector.
