Responding to Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026, Son La Provincial Labor Federation will organize many programs to care for and support union members and workers in the area.
According to the plan, the provincial trade union will present 100 gifts with a total value of 250 million VND to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
At the same time, 5 "Trade Union Homes" with a total budget of 250 million VND will be supported to build for union members in housing difficulties.
On May 7, the unit coordinated with Son La Provincial People's Committee to organize the launching ceremony of the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health and the Workers' Month 2026.
On May 9, a training program on occupational safety and health will be organized for nearly 400 trade union officials and workers of Son La Water Supply Company and Urban Environment Company.
On May 15, a conference to summarize 5 years of implementing Conclusion No. 01 on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style will take place, combined with commending grassroots trade unions and typical union members.
On May 22, the "Trade Union Meal" program is expected to serve about 400 workers at some businesses.
On May 23-24, the Workers' Sports Festival in Moc Chau area will be held to create a playground for health training and strengthen the solidarity of workers.
Mr. Soi Ngoc Cuong - Chairman of Son La Provincial Labor Federation said that each grassroots trade union will have at least one activity to directly care for union members; programs must ensure practicality, efficiency, take workers as the center and strongly focus on grassroots levels.
With a series of diverse activities, Workers' Month 2026 in Son La is expected to create a vibrant emulation atmosphere among workers, civil servants, and laborers, spreading the spirit of innovation and creativity, contributing to building an increasingly modern worker team, meeting development requirements in the new period. Program invitations will be sent to press agencies to coordinate propaganda and dissemination.
